Corporate Marketing Researcher, Factory Farming Campaign - Humane Society

We are seeking an individual to research and persuade corporations to reform their purchasing policies in ways that reduce farm animal suffering—focusing on the most abusive practices in agribusiness. This person will need to establish and manage strategic relationships. Includes keeping updated contacts on recent campaign developments and maintaining regular contact to encourage collaboration that leads to tangible results. Additionally, part of the duties include; conduct research on potential corporate candidates for animal welfare improvements; maintain and apply solid, evolving knowledge of industry trends and corporate environment via industry publications and communiqués, and assist with and/or manage general Factory Farming Campaign and intradepartmental projects as they arise. A minimum Bachelor’s degree in related field required. One to three years experience in campaigning, preferably on farm animal advocacy issues. Must be knowledgeable about factory farming and the work done in the movement to promote farm animal welfare. Prefer someone with contacts with key activists across the country involved in farm animal advocacy. Must be willing to travel. Salary starting in the mid to high $30K, including award winning benefits package. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
