Reports to: Email Director
Description: Experienced copywriter to work with email outreach team on writing, editing, and production of campaign emails.
Requirements:
Excellent writing and editing skills with strong attention to detail
Degree in Journalism, English, Political Science, or related field
At least one year of professional copywriting experience, preferably for a progressive elected official or non-profit organization
Ability to work under deadline pressure and manage multiple projects
Experience with HTML and CSS
Preference given for experience with:
Email or speechwriting for political campaign or office
Email list segmentation and mass mail platforms
Graphic design and page layout
Statistical analysis and reporting
Online marketing and fundraising

I recently saw on CNN that McCann said Obama would be bad for business. I couldn’t help but think to myself “bad for business as usually”; The oil business, The military industrial complex, The corrupt lobbying business, The healthcare business. He is bad for bad business. Good luck Senator Obama. America needs you.
