#WEB1501 Assists in production of All Things Considered rollovers; edits tape and mixes pieces; research and writes program segments as assigned; assists in generating story and interview ideas. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience/ At least 1.5 years’ experience in broadcasting; experience editing tape on Dalet, Cool Edit, ProTools or similar broadcast digital audio workstations required; ability to work quickly and efficiently under deadline pressure; ability to work quickly and efficiently under deadline pressure; ability and willingness to work varied shows and shifts; demonstrated writing ability; proven ability to consistently work well with others, demonstrating at all times respect for the diverse constituencies at NPR and within the public radio system; preferred experience in radio broadcasting; experiencing working in news journalism; ability to relocate. In the future, NPR may choose to transfer employees to other geographic locations. Severance provisions of the AFTRA collective bargaining agreement will apply should you choose not to accept a transfer.
