Moderate Democrat from Southern California seeks a motivated, hard working Legislative Assistant with hill experience. The ideal candidate is a pro-active, self starter, who works well under pressure and has excellent writing skills. Being a team player with a sense of humor is a must, and the ability to fit in with a tight knit staff is critical. Exact portfolio will be finalized to fit the ideal candidate. Duties will include drafting legislation, preparing briefing documents and writing speeches. This position is not an entry-level legislative position.
