Active Democratic Freshman Member in competitive district seeks a legislative assistant to cover a variety of issues including appropriations, veterans, science and technology, education, and transportation. Applicants should be able to multi-task and work in a fast paced office. The position will entail answering mail for the assigned issue areas. The ideal candidate will have excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills and experience with the appropriations process. Prior experience as a legislative assistant is required.
