Vermont (VT00) Representative Peter Welch seeks a highly motivated Rules Associate/Legislative Assistant to staff him on House Rules Committee and manage a portfolio of legislative issues, including veterans, housing, and financial services. Candidates should be self-starting team players with a track record of creating legislative opportunities for a Member of Congress. Two years of House Legislative Assistant experience strongly preferred. Superb writing, verbal, organizational and analytical skills are a must. Salary is commensurate with experience. Position available in mid-February.
