Senior Midwest Democrat looking for an experienced individual for senior LA position focusing primarily on Budget Committee assignment, Health, Seniors, and Veterans. Position involves helping to develop and manage the Member’s legislative agenda on authorizing committees, writing floor statements and talking points, mail oversight. In depth knowledge and understanding of legislative process and excellent writing ability is required. Hill experience a requirement; law degree and appropriations knowledge a plus.
