Active Democratic Texas Member seeks Press Secretary for Washington, DC office. Candidates should have previous press/communications experience, have excellent writing and verbal skills, and should be comfortable in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include handling all incoming press requests, drafting and sending press releases, writing columns and newsletters, and a variety of other communications for the office. This position will require a significant amount of outreach to district media outlets. Preferred candidate will be bilingual in Spanish and have previous hill/campaign experience.
