Moderate House Democrat serving in Leadership seeks Legislative Assistant to focus on Energy and Environment issues in a fast-paced, collegial environment. A minimum of two years Hill experience required. A degree in environmental sciences or related issue area is preferred. Strong background in energy, climate change, and environmental justice issues a plus. Position requires a deft understanding of environmental and energy policy given possible legislation in this area will soon be drafted. Excellent verbal and writing skills required.
