Field Organizer - Maine Democratic Party
SALARY: $24,000
Field organizers will be responsible for building infrastructure and volunteer capacity in their regions to meet the goals and objectives of the Maine Democratic Coordinated Campaign (Victory 2008). The job entails executing a field plan to boost the performance of all Democrats on the ballot in his/her geographic area. Each field organizer will be required to meet aggressive voter contact goals through a combined use of phone banks, canvasses and events. He/she will report directly to their respective Regional Field Director. Field organizers will work with County Committees, Town Committees, Precinct and Neighborhood leaders recruited in 2007 and other local activists to build a strong network of grassroots volunteers to implement the ‘08 voter contact program.
